Ruth
Ruth is currently studying Children's Services at Meadowbank TAFE. She also works part time in a Cafe where she works as a barista. She has been involved in Children's Ministry for over seven years.
When she is not working or styudying Ruth enjoys hanging out with friends, playing video games and origami.
Sally
Sally is a nurse who works at Hornsby Hospital. This is her third year of leading Thursty and she loves hanging out with the kids on a Thursday evening. Sally also enjoys leading camps at vision valley during school holidays.
When she's not at work, Thrusty or camp, Sally enjoys knitting, watching sci-fi tv shows, chilling out with her friends and going to the gym with Ruth.
Daina
Daina has grown up at St Luke's and is currently studying Architecture at UNSW.
She loves art and playing sport and wants to tell others about Jesus.
Daina's favourite bible verse is Matthew 6:25 - 27:
"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink... Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?"
Nick
Nick is a student at Hornsby TAFE, training in computer programming, having just finished year 12 in 2008. He loves playing and writing music on many different instruments, and has been going to St Luke’s his whole life. He is 19 years old and looks forward to a life of praising and worshipping the Lord. He is also Sally’s younger brother, and has spent way too much time playing Tetris.
Lukas
Luke is a year 12 student at Normanhurst Boys. He likes to play basketball and listen to music in his spare time.
He has grown up at St. Luke's, and enjoys having fun and sharing God's word at Thursty.
Kylie
Kylie is a Primary School Teacher at Rouse Hill Public. She is recently married and lives in Hornsby with her husband Chris. Kylie has been invovled in camps, youth groups and church ministry for over 10 years and loves it!
When she's not marking books or hanging with her hubby she likes drinking hot chocolate and watching 'Friends'.
Chris
Chris is a Chartered Accountant who works in the family practice doing tax and business stuff in Hornsby. He has lead in Anglican Youth Groups previously and loves reading his bible.
In his spare time he enjoys seeing bands, whacking golf balls and going to the beach. Long live the Socceroos!
Gavin
Gavin works at Coles during the day and in his spare time enjoys going for long walks, chilling out with his church friends and painting. Some of Gavin's art has been displayed in a gallery in Hornsby
